FOLLOWING recent rapid expansion in their businesses, leading Ayr solicitors Frazer Coogans have moved from their premises in the old Bank of Scotland building at the corner of Miller Road and Burns Statue Square into Dalblair House at 46 Dalblair Road in Ayr, and top independent financial advisers Independent Corporate Planning Ltd have done an “office swap” with them by moving up the road in the opposite direction from Dalblair Road to Miller Road. Frazer Coogans have purchased the whole of Dalblair House comprising three floors and which has been completely modernised, in a move necessitated by the firm’s doubling in size in the last four years, with every sign that this rate of growth is set to continue. The new offices contain state of the art telephone and computer systems, and also provide ample car parking facilities for clients. Frazer Coogans employs twenty staff and offers a complete rage of legal services - including residential, commercial and agricultural property conveyancing, property investment, wills, executry and estates, and accident and injury claims. Commenting on the move, Frazer Coogans senior partner Norman G Geddes said: “We are grateful for the tremendous support which we receive from clients and businesses in Ayrshire and further afield. This move will enable us to continue to develop the legal services which we provide to them.” Meanwhile, moving across town in the opposite direction are Ayr-based independent financial advisers Independent Corporate Planning Ltd. They are moving out of Dalblair House to their new prestigious address at 2 Miller Road. Established over eleven years ago, Independent Corporate Planning Ltd is another Ayr firm undergoing a period of rapid expansion. But rather than concentrating solely on building up their business locally, ICP is looking to open up branch offices in other parts of the country. They already have an office in Dundee, and one in Essex serving London and the southeast of England which is headed up by company director David Miles. And only this month they opened yet another new office in Perth run by Paisley-born financial adviser Beverley Callander. The firm says that their clients cover the entire UK – quite literally from John O’Groats to Lands End! Commenting on the move to new premises, Independent Corporate Planning Ltd director Alasdair MacNab said: “We have always been, and always will be, an Ayr-based company. Our choice of new headquarters in the centre of the town, close to the main banks and estate agents, demonstrates our commitment to serving the financial needs of the local community, whilst at the same time allowing us to continue to expand our network of branch offices across the UK. We look forward to welcoming anyone who requires expert independent financial advice to our new offices in Miller Road.” ![]() Independent Corporate Planning Ltd - Directors and Staff.
